Some brands are built in boardrooms. Loroabia was built on a bedroom floor, surrounded by fabric swatches, late-night Pinterest boards, and an unshakeable belief that every woman deserves a beautiful bag — without the luxury price tag.

It started with a feeling.

Growing up, I was fascinated by fashion — not the kind that lives behind glass in a department store, but the kind that tells a story. The worn-in tote that's been to three countries. The little crossbody that somehow goes with everything. The shoulder bag you reach for on your best days.

But as I got older, I noticed a gap. The bags I loved — the ones with real character, thoughtful design, and that effortless "I just threw this on" quality — were either unaffordable or impossible to find on the high street. I didn't want to compromise. So eventually, I stopped looking for the perfect bag and started building it.

Learning the hard way (and loving it).

I had no formal training in fashion. No business degree. What I had was curiosity, a lot of free time, and an obsessive eye for detail. I spent months studying silhouettes — what made a bag feel expensive, what made it feel cheap, why some designs became classics while others dated overnight.

I taught myself materials, hardware, proportions. I tested bags. I returned bags. I photographed bags in every light and at every angle just to understand what made them work. It wasn't glamorous — but it was the best education I could have asked for.

Then came the harder part: learning how to run a business. Sourcing. Pricing. Shipping. Branding. Building a website at midnight. Writing product descriptions at 2am. Every single step was a lesson, and every mistake made the next version better.

Loroabia is born.

I launched Loroabia with one clear vision: to curate bags that feel like they should cost twice as much. Not fast fashion. Not throwaway. Pieces with intention — designed for real life, styled for real women.

Every bag in our collection is personally handpicked. I ask myself the same question every time: would I carry this? Not just today — but in three years? Does it have that something? If the answer isn't an immediate yes, it doesn't make the cut.

The name Loroabia comes from a place of personal meaning — a reminder of where this journey started and the kind of beauty I've always wanted to create: warm, timeless, and quietly confident.
